MEET THE TEAM.

Ariell is the Publisher and Editorial Director of Wild Hunt Books. She commissions the wonderful authors and works with them through the entire editorial process. She is a writer and avid reader in South London whose work appears widely in various magazines, journals and anthologies. Her criticism focuses on literary and genre fiction, literature in translation and debut novels. She has also translated German prose and poetry, receiving grants and fellowships for her projects. Many moons ago, she received a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University in New York City.

She loves language that evokes place, voice and mood, and loves when this works as a visceral entry point for the reader into a story. Some of her favourite writers are: Shirley Jackson, Daisy Johnson, Charlotte Brontë, Margaret Atwood and Franz Kafka.
